CUB’S WIN…CUB’S WIN…CUB’S WIN!!!

Today was our Cub’s game day up in Mesa. We decided to leave early so we could possibly get some autographs (which didn’t happen), but we got a decent parking spot and were there early enough to enjoy the crowd and sights. Had great seats that looked right down the third base line. Next year we are going to get our tickets earlier and try for one section further right of where we were, then I won’t have to shoot pics through the backstop.

Here are a few of my shots of that beautiful  and loads of fun ballgame day!

Bako breaking the bat. The broken half flew almost out to the pitcher, but he made it to the base.

I enjoyed a Chicago Dog and Pat had some kind of huge sausage dog or something. Got back to the RV park around six, had a light supper and watched a little t.v. Went to bed about 9:30. Guess we’re getting old…lol.

  1. We LOVE baseball, too! Our game wasn't MLB yesterday, but it was fun and I love watching the kids. Was it the huge sausage dog that made Pat sick?

  2. Hi there,
It was the sausage dog...lol. We are in CO now and will be heading up to the slopes in about an hour. We got to CO Springs Thursday afternoon and stayed overnight in a little campground just two miles from downtown and Manitou Springs. Did a little walking through some of the shops and then had dinner at TX Roadhouse before going back to RV and retiring for the night. Arrived in Denver around 11:30 Friday morning. It is only 39 right now...brrrr...lol. I'll update my blog after we get up to the slopes.
