Pat seems better today. I got up fixed us each a poached egg on toast, which he said tasted good. I took a shower and decided that since he seemed on the road to recovery I would change the bedding and try to avoid more of the germs. He also took a shower and was kind of exhausted after that so went back to his chair for awhile.
I decided to ride my bike up to Wild Horse housing area just outside of the park and check out their garage sales. I was actually visiting with a man “George” that is a former Iowan (Woodward) when along came Pat on his bike. I was really surprised to see him, but happy he felt well enough to ride that far. While I was looking at a few things he decided to head back to the park. When I got back he was in his chair and said he was exhausted again. I knew the bug was still with us.
We just finished dinner. Had B/L/T sandwiches and left over potato salad. Now guess who is back in his chair…lol. I hope he is well enough for church in the morning since this will be our last service here in the park. We have enjoyed it so much and will really miss Pastor Don, LaVon and everyone else!
We only have three more days left to enjoy this wonderful winter away. Pulling out on Wednesday morning.
Oh Claudia, I'm so sorry that Pat has been sick. Don't you dare leave without seeing me!
ReplyDeleteDon didn't feel good today. He was so weak he could hardly stand and preach but you would never know it. He's been in his recliner all day too and feeling a little better.
